Who is organising it?

A professional team, an international network of personal, web and media supporters to spread the word.

The China Green Tour is organised by a non-profit association based in Paris: “Solutions pour une Meilleure Planète”.

The association’s founders, Matthieu Wolmark, Liyan Du and Guan Yao are professionals in the field of documentary films, the media industry and cultural events organisation in both Europe and China.

The China Green Tour is a non-profit event designed to combine our networks and skills to do something for our future. Organisation, marketing and communication will handled like any profit-making event, however, since we intend to make a real impact on civil society.

Active participation is the key to the event. Hence we have brought together eight local Chinese green Student Assocations to contribute to our project. Our network is growing daily, already benefits from the personal support of Chinese media professionals in TV, the press and radio. Agreement in principle has also been reached with major Internet companies for the effective promotion of the China Green Tour on their portals.

The “Who supports it?” page provides a short introduction to the green associations, along with a selection of personal expressions of support from our media network, an overview of the media involved and of their coverage. This support in the early stages of preparation for the China Green Tour is expected to expand significantly via further private, media and blog support.

If you would like to be part of a network spreading the word, or doing something – however big or small – please go to the "Join the Tour" page . We would welcome your participation.
